(Paul Smiths, N.Y.)- The SUNY Canton women's soccer team wrapped
up a perfect Sunrise Conference regular season with a 5-0 win over Paul
Smith's College Saturday afternoon in Paul Smiths.
The Roos finish the regular season 12-0 in the conference and 14-2 overall. SUNY Canton has secured the top seed for the upcoming Sunrise Conference tournament next weekend in Portland, Maine.
Niki Perkins (Potsdam, N.Y.) pumped in two goals to lead the Roos who won their 11th straight game on Saturday. They also extended their shutout streak to seven games.
Erin Tulip (Constable, N.Y.) and Ashley Winfield (Fort Plain, N.Y.) each added a goal and an assist. Aubrey Parrish (Greene, N.Y.) scored once and Brenna Sexton (Baldwinsville, N.Y.) made two saves for her 11th shutout of the year.
Karlie Zurmuhlen had 14 saves for the Bobcats.
