Small logo (Plattsburgh, N.Y.)- Sophomore Niki Perkins (Potsdam, N.Y.) had a goal and an assist leading the SUNY Canton women's soccer team past Clinton Community College 3-1 in a non-league game Tuesday in Plattsburgh. The win will not count in the Roos overall record due to Clinton being a two-year college per NAIA rules.

All three goals for the Roos came in the first half. Perkins connected from sophomore Lauren Ploof (Hammond, N.Y.) in the 11th minute. Sophomore Shirley DuBrey (Saranac, N.Y.) then scored from Perkins two minutes later and freshman Justine Monahan (Ellington, Conn.) finished the scoring for SUNY Canton off an assist from sophomore Jackie Maynard (Brasher Falls, N.Y.) in the 21st minute.

Sophomore Brenna Sexton (Baldwinsville, N.Y.) recorded four saves in goal.

Jordan Clark scored for the Cougars from Elizabeth Bazzano in the 63rd minute.
