(Randolph Center, Vt.)- Cierra Wells (Madrid, N.Y.) scored two goals leading the SUNY Canton women's soccer team past Vermont Technical College 3-0 Saturday in a Sunrise Conference game in Vermont. The Roos have won four straight games and improved to 7-0-1 in conference play and 8-1-1 overall.
Wells scored both of her goals unassisted in the second half. Justine Monahan (Ellington, Conn.) also scored, Ashley Winfield (Fort Plain, N.Y.) had one assist and Aubrey Parrish (Greene, N.Y.) posted her fifth shutout of the year with three saves.
Abigail Senesac had 10 saves for the Green Knights.
