Roos Roll Over the College of St. Joseph 9-0

(Rutland, Vt.)- Aimee Bookmiller (Bliss, N.Y.) netted three goals to lead the SUNY Canton women's soccer team past the College of St. Joseph 9-0 in a Sunrise Conference game Sunday in Vermont. The Roos ran their winning streak to five games while improving to 8-0-1 in the conference and 9-1-1 overall.
Bookmiller scored once in the first half and then scored two consecutive goals in the second half to complete the hat trick.
Justine Monahan (Ellington, Conn.) added two goals and three assists. Cierra Wells (Madrid, N.Y.) had a goal and an assist. Ashley Winfield (Fort Plain, N.Y.) also had two goals. Vanessa Badlam (Canton, N.Y.) scored once and Jackie Maynard (Brasher Falls, N.Y.) and Jessica Brosch (Sandy Creek, N.Y.) each chipped in with two assists.
Aubrey Parrish (Greene, N.Y.) had two saves for her sixth shutout of the year.
Maria Filiberto had 17 saves for the Fighting Saints.
