(Machias, Maine)-Justine Monahan (Ellington, Conn.) netted three goals with one assist leading SUNY Canton past the University of Maine at Machias 4-1 Sunday in a Sunrise Conference women's soccer game in Maine. The Roos moved to 6-0-1 in the conference and 7-1-1 overall with the win.

Monahan, who had five goals in two games this weekend, opened the scoring from Megan Davis (Hammond, N.Y.) in the 29th minute and that's the only goal the Roos would score in the first half.

Nicollette Cunningham tied the game when she scored six minutes into the second half from Sara Rushforth.

Monahan then scored the game-winning goal in the 65th minute off an assist from Niki Perkins (Potsdam, N.Y.). Monahan scored again 10 minutes later to complete the hat trick off an assist from Teresa Morley (Ogdensburg, N.Y.) and then Perkins capped off the scoring off a feed from Monahan with three minutes left in regulation.

Aubrey Parrish (Greene, N.Y.) had one save for the Roos and Stephanie Wunderley had nine saves for the Clippers.
