(Canton, N.Y.)- The SUNY Canton women's soccer team ran into a tough defensive team Tuesday night as they lost to Houghton College 4-0 in Canton. The Roos end the regular season at 14-3-1.

The Highlanders, ranked 18th in the latest NAIA national poll, posted their 11 straight shutout while holding the Roos to just one shot attempt all night. Houghton, who has allowed just two goals all season, generated 33 shots of their own, 15 that went on goal.

Aubrey Parrish (Greene, N.Y.) made several terrific stops in goal to keep the game close. Parrish finished with 11 saves overall.

Kaylin Bull scored a pair of goals for Houghton. Mandy Lewandowski had one goal and two assists and Hannah Swift added a single goal. Erin Asquith and Alexa Thayer combined on the shutout and neither made a save.
