Niki Perkins (7) scored four goals against Vermont Tech

(Canton, N.Y.)- Niki Perkins (Potsdam, N.Y.) and Justine Monahan (Ellington, Conn.) provided too much of a 1-2 punch for Vermont Technical College as the Roos blanked the Green Knights 4-0 Saturday afternoon in Canton.
Perkins scored all four of SUNY Canton's goals and Monahan assisted on each one of them. The pair hooked up in the 25th minute for the only goal of the first half and then combined for three more goals in the second half, the last two coming just two minutes apart.
Aubrey Parrish (Greene, N.Y.) needed to make just two saves for her second consecutive shutout for the Roos (1-0 Sunrise Conference, 2-1 overall).
Abigail Senesac had 10 saves for the Green Knights (0-1, 1-1).
