Roos Tie Presque Isle 3-3

(Presque Isle, Maine)- Niki Perkins (Potsdam, N.Y.) had two goals and Aimee Bookmiller (Bliss, N.Y.) scored once lifting SUNY Canton to a 3-3 tie with the University of Maine at Presque Isle on Sunday in Maine. The Roos are now 2-0-1 in the Sunrise Conference and 3-1-1 overall while the Owls moved to 1-0-1 and 4-1-1.
Perkins and Bookmiller each scored goals in the first half and then Perkins scored the game-tying goal with 4:39 left in regulation. Aubrey Parrish (Greene, N.Y.) had five saves for the Roos.
Olivia Jameson, Desiree Smith and Carmen Allen each scored for the Owls
and Billie Martin recorded four saves.
