Roos Fall on the Road to D'Youville 4-1

(Elma, N.Y.)- The SUNY Canton women's soccer team couldn't overcome three second-half goals from D'Youville College as the Spartans handed the Roos a 4-1 loss in Elma Saturday afternoon.
Freshman Cristina Butler (Rochester, N.Y.) tied the score for the Roos at 1-1 with her first goal of the year in the 20th minute after the Spartans had gone ahead in the 11th minute.
All three D'Youville goals came in a 10-minute span in the second half.
Freshman Ashley Knox (Binghamton, N.Y.) recorded 10 saves for SUNY Canton (0-2).
Nicole Mosher had two goals and an assist for the Spartans. Stephanie Lozzi contributed a goal and an assist and Stephanie Wiechec added a single goal.
