(Poultney, Vt.)- The SUNY Canton women's volleyball team rallied from a 2-0 deficit to beat Green Mountain College 3-2 Sunday afternoon in Poultney, Vt. The Roos also swept Vermont Technical College 3-0 in a Sunrise Conference match also held at Green Mountain College.

SUNY Canton (6-0 Sunrise Conference, 12-7 overall) dropped the first two games to Green Mountain losing 28-30 and 20-30 but then won the next three games 30-24, 30-19 and 18-16.

Alicia Abbey (Mayville, N.Y.) led the Roos with 22 kills and 12 blocks. Valerie Bova (Central Square, N.Y.) added 19 kills and 10 blocks and Brittany Hains (Mexico, N.Y.) recorded 47 assists.

Bova pounded down 14 kills against Vermont Tech and Hains added 21 more assists.
