2007 Women's Volleyball

(Canton, N.Y.)- Junior Val Bova (Central Square, N.Y.) has been named the Sunrise Conference Women's Volleyball Player of the Week.

Bova, an outside hitter, had a solid week in three matches for SUNY Canton. She had 13 kills and two aces in a 3-0 win over Green Mountain College on Oct. 6. She also had five kills and four digs earlier in the day against St. Lawrence University. Earlier in the week she recorded 10 kills, one ace and a block in a loss to SUNY Potsdam.

Bova leads the Roos in digs (1.5) and is second in kills (2.3) and service aces per game (1.0).
