Special experts instruct exciting classes on:
• clandestine grave investigation
• traffic accident investigation

Our CI program is unique:

  1. This is a Bachelor of Technology as opposed to a BA or BS.
  2. Upper level core courses are offered in a "total immersion" fashion.
  3. This is hands-on learning as opposed to theory based.
  4. CI students perform a 600 hour internship that is investigative in nature.

The internship portion of our Criminal Investigation program is one of the most exciting aspects of our curriculum. You will have the opportunity to join Interpol Headquarters in Washington, DC, or travel to Kosovo and work with the tribunal. Ever dreamed of working with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police? There are approximately 10 CJ/CI courses offered online. With the approval of Law Enforcement Management and Emergency and Disaster Management numerous others will be following shortly.

Students become accomplished in:

  • Investigative photographic techniques
  • Interview and interrogations skills
  • Latent print identification
  • Processing, and classification
  • Narcotic investigation skills
  • Crime scene investigation skills and techniques
  • Managing and successfully completing homicide investigations
