SUCF PN 23207 French Hall / Southworth Library – Rehab Windows, Roofs, Fascia & Soffits

Project includes removal and replacement of existing roofs, fascia, soffits, exterior lighting, doors, windows and interior window treatments.

SUCF PN 23218 Chaney Dining Hall – Rehab Mechanical & Plumbing Systems

Project includes removal and replacement of various mechanical and plumbing systems including replacement of failed boilers.

SUCF PN 23230 CARC Site & Athletic Field Improvements

Project includes additional visitor parking, site lighting, press box, baseball field and softball field dugouts, natural grass field and various field access drives. Work is currently ongoing and will continue as weather permits to complete the Press Box, Baseball Field Dugouts and Softball Field Dugouts. Relocation of the Softball Field scoreboard, final grading, seeding and demobilization will be completed April / May 2015.

 

SUCF PN 23232 Cooper Service Building – Replace Fuel Storage System

Project includes removal and replacement of existing underground fuel storage tanks and associated dispensing systems with new aboveground storage tanks, dispensing system and fuel management system.

SUCF PN 23233 Wicks Hall - Rehab Stone Veneer Retaining Wall

Project includes removal and replacement of existing stone veneer on retaining wall located between Wicks Hall and Dana Hall.  Final caulking, sealing, site restoration and demobilization will be completed April / May 2015.

 

SUCF PN 23234 Underground Natural Gas Piping and Site Lighting Cornell Drive

Project includes removal and replacement of underground natural gas piping systems, service laterals and metering.  Removal and replacement of site lighting along Cornell Drive.

PN L23060 PV Solar Development Project

Project includes development of a remote net-metered ground mounted solar photovoltaic array of 2.0 MW (AC) capacity on properties owned by Hemlock Acres, LLC located on State Highway 68 in the Town of Canton, St. Lawrence County, New York.

Energy Master Plan (NYPA)

Under the direction of the New York Power Authority (NYPA), PRES Energy will conduct comprehensive energy audits of the State University of New York at Canton (SUNY Canton) designated facilities. The purpose of these comprehensive energy audits is to identify existing conditions at each selected site, to propose measures that would increase energy efficiency of these sites and will be the basis to develop an Energy Master Plan for the selected sites.

During the development of the Energy Master Plan, PRES Energy will identify and recommend low-cost and no-cost energy efficiency opportunities; SUNY Canton may implement such measures immediately. While industry experience has shown that SUNY Canton will save energy from such actions, PRES Energy is unable to quantify those savings until the Energy Master Plan is complete.

The comprehensive energy audits will follow guidelines for an ASHRAE Level 2 audit as documented by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) “Procedures for Commercial Building Energy Audits, Second Edition 2011” (ASHRAE-2011) or the most current version published by ASHRAE, with pre-described deviations.
