Moving Forward to a Cleaner, Greener Future
SUNY Canton is dedicated to sustainability and environmental conservation. The College thrives through environmentally responsible practices, in line with the entire State University of New York, and is committed to reducing pollution through smarter energy use.
SUNY Canton’s Sustainability Task Force has put forth new plans and goals for overall environmental responsibility. Meanwhile, SUNY Canton’s Student Environmental Awareness Society (SEAS) and the Green Campus Committee have focused on specific activities, including joining the Nation-Wide Recycling challenge, RecycleMania.
There is a variety of information about both SUNY-wide and SUNY Canton efforts to conserve energy, reduce the College’s environmental footprint, recycle, and use resources and materials more sustainably available through the Resources and Information section.

Sustainability Design Lecture Series
The next event in the Sustainability Design weekly lecture series is entitled "The Science of Human Impact" Prof. Jon Rosales presenting. Prof. Rosales teaches at St. Lawrence University. The lecture will take place on Monday April 25, 2011 in Nevaldine North 102 at 6 p.m. and will last about 40 minutes. All are welcome!
