Sustainability: Green Campus Committee
- We are registering for and creating a plan for Recyclemania.
- Our plan will coincide with an effort to obtain, distribute, and adjust staff practices for a separate recycling container in a central location on each floor of the campus. (Through Campus enhancement awards); we want to have this in place for the beginning of the semester spring 09.
- This will require minimal but consistent coordination with facilities and all janitorial staff, prior to implementation (we will probably need to meet a few times over winter break).
- SEAS is preparing to host an informational table, where people can get more information on topics such as single stream recycling, ways to become more sustainable, how to figure ones carbon footprint, etc.
These two areas are the most active, most of the other topics are moving forward slowly or not at all.
