Student Environment Awareness Society
The Student Environmental Awareness Society (S.E.A.S.) is the SUNY Canton’s student environmental club. Its purpose is to educate students, faculty and staff as well as the community about environmental issues.
Past activities have included a river clean-up effort, a birdhouse construction project for the walking trails, an education/awareness table, a baked goods sale and an Earth Day tree planting project.
Students interested in learning more about S.E.A.S. can do so by contacting Sister Bethany Fitzgerald, the club’s adviser. Her phone number is 7018.
