Emergency Care When the Health Center is Closed
SUNY Canton Health Center does not provide emergency care. If you need to be seen after hours for urgent care matters SUNY Canton students may go to local hospital emergency departments. If you are in need of emergency medical care for anyone on campus--faculty, staff, student or visitor, at any time day or night, please call University Police at (315) 386- 7777 (7777 from any campus phone). All 911 calls made from campus phones go to University Police. Please note that care received at any outside entity is the financial responsibility of the student.

Care Options for Non-Emergency Care When the Health Center is Closed
In a situation where a student feels they need health care outside of the normal Health Center hours, but it is not an emergency requiring a call to 911, there is a walk-in clinic in Canton that is affiliated with Canton-Potsdam Hospital. Please note that care received at any outside entity is the financial responsibility of the student and the Health Center is not affiliated with these sites:
