TITLE:

Tenure Track Faculty – Psychology

DEPARTMENT:

Social Science

SALARY RANGE:

Commensurate with experience and qualifications

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

SUNY Canton seeks faculty for two (2) tenure-track positions in a new undergraduate applied psychology program.  Teaching responsibilities to include: Abnormal, Social, Crisis Intervention, Counseling Theory and Process, and Positive Psychology. Responsibilities may include field work, with seminar participation and work with field supervisors.  Other duties will involve curriculum development, student advising, active scholarship, and participation in faculty governance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of two years professional experience, APA-accredited PhD/PsyD degree required in an applied area of Psychology (such as clinical, counseling and related human service areas).  Licensure preferred for one position.  (ABD with work experience may be considered, if doctorate pending).  MSW/LCSW with clinical experience will also be considered.
