DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The SUNY Canton Department of Business invites applicants for a tenure track Assistant Professor of Accounting. Primary responsibilities include teaching a variety of lower and upper division accounting courses, committee work, curriculum development, student advising, assisting with program assessment, and engaging in scholarly/research activities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
An M.B.A. or masters-related degree in business and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required for consideration. An earned doctorate will be required for tenure. Preferred candidates will possess a CPA, CMA, CIA, MAcc, PhD or DBA in business or an accounting related discipline, have a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, and a minimum of three years of college level teaching experience, including experience teaching online.
