Women’s Softball Head Coach




Commensurate with Credentials and Experience


SUNY Canton seeks applicants for a full time Women’s Softball Head Coach to organize, direct and supervise our intercollegiate women’s softball program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: recruitment of qualified student-athletes, coaching and training of student-athletes, scheduling opponents, fundraising, budgeting, team management and monitoring of academic progress of student-athletes.


Bachelor’s degree with experience in coaching, instructing or training in softball is required. Master’s degree is preferred. The successful candidate will demonstrate good communication skills and possess proven recruitment experience.

Prior to a final offer of employment, the selected candidate will be required to submit to a background check including, but not limited to, employment verification, educational and other credential verification, and criminal background check.
