Instructional Support Associate (Nursing) - SL-2

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

The State University of New York (SUNY) College at Canton invites qualified applicants for a full-time, ten-month, instructional support associate in the nursing clinical skills lab and simulation lab, to begin August 2018. The college’s nursing programs include a Practical Nursing certificate, an accredited two-year AAS nursing program, a dual-degree (AAS/BS), and an online RN-BS.

Responsibilities: Prepare and support the daily operations of the practice laboratories and the simulation lab; requisition supplies and control the inventory; coordinate needed supplies, equipment and materials; perform skill remediation, and assist in the practice labs as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Unencumbered, current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse or a Registered Nurse in New York State. Preferred candidates will have clinical nursing experience and prior experience with inventory management.

Prior to a final offer of employment, the selected candidate will be required to submit to a background check including, but not limited to, employment verification, educational and other credential verification, and criminal background check.
