Accounting Assistant-Scholarship Administrator

Canton College Foundation seeks a detail-oriented and organized individual with strong accounting and data management skills to join our dynamic and growing not-for-profit. This individual will process purchase orders, manage accounts payable, assist with payroll, and provide general accounting assistance to the Senior Foundation Accountant. He/she will also coordinate the awarding of and record-keeping for over 200 donor-funded scholarships. Accuracy, and the ability to work well in a team are important.


Required: Associate's degree in accounting, finance or business, one to three years of progressive accounting experience, experience working in Microsoft Office products, particularly Word and Excel as well as standalone accounting software systems, valid driver's license.

Preferred: Bachelor's degree, experience with Banner or other enterprise data management systems, previous experience working in higher education.
