DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

The State University of New York at Canton is searching for a talented individual to join the College community in the position of Director of Educational Opportunity Program (EOP). The Director of EOP has full responsibility for the leadership, management and supervision of the Educational Opportunity Program at SUNY Canton. Duties include preparing status and statistical reports, preparing and managing budgets, representing EOP at local, SUNY and state-wide meetings, coordinating the summer program, collaborating with Admissions and Financial Aid to achieve enrollment goals and facilitate the completion of financial aid packages and documentation, as well as student outreach, engagement, and retention initiatives for the program.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Higher Education, Educational Administration or a related area. A minimum of three years’ experience in post-secondary education administration and adequate experience in program planning, budget formulation, and management.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in counseling, curriculum development, college admissions, or student financial aid is highly desirable.
