DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The State University of New York (SUNY) College at Canton and The Canino School of Engineering Technology’s Decision and Graphic Media Systems seeks adjunct faculty members in the area of Game Design and Development. beginning August 2019.

The successful applicant will teach in our popular Game Design and Development program and will adopt a pedagogical approach that includes the whole-student.  The faculty member is encouraged to be an innovator within her/his discipline.  The faculty is expected to participate in undergraduate instruction in the areas of technical competence and with our departmental advisory board. Candidates must have expertise in the varying disciplines of interactive design or game design/development with a particular focus on game programming. Software experience may include Unity, Unreal Engine, or comparable development software, with programming proficiency in C++, C#, Java, C++, Python or another prevalent programming language, with real-world experience in commercial game development, and who are as passionate about teaching. Teleworking via remote teaching technologies is available if desired.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Relevant Bachelor degree is required with Masters degree preferred.
