FACULTY POSITION

Assistant Professor Business Administration/Management - Tenure-Track (other ranks considered)

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

The SUNY Canton Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Program invites applicants for the tenure-track position of Assistant Professor (other ranks considered). beginning Fall 2019.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary responsibilities include teaching introductory and advanced level undergraduate business and management courses, curriculum development, accreditation, academic advising, and college service.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Relevant terminal degree (PhD or DBA in the field). Candidates currently in ABD status will be considered. Preferred candidates will have three years teaching experience with at least two courses having been taught in an online format. Knowledge of and teaching experience in operations management, international management and supply chain management is desirable. Use of simulations in the teaching experience and knowledge of online teaching platforms such as Blackboard is desirable along with experience in business school accreditation procedures. The SUNY Canton Business Department is seeking individuals who are committed to teaching excellence and are interested in growing the BBA in Management Program.

Prior to a final offer of employment, the selected candidate will be required to submit to a background check including, but not limited to, employment verification, educational and other credential verification, and criminal background check.
