As Associate Provost and Dean of Academic Support Services and Instructional Technologies, Dr. Molly Mott provides leadership to the campus on the continuing transformation and improvement of services that support the enrollment, recruitment, and retention of students. She began her career at SUNY Canton as a Veterinary Science Educator (1989-2005) in the Veterinary Science Technology program, teaching her favorite courses- the Human-Animal Bond and Companion Animal Behavior. Throughout her tenure at SUNY Canton, Dr. Mott has assumed senior leadership roles in online learning, academic support services, and student affairs. She has presented to local, state, national, and international conferences on distance learning, and traveled throughout the world to guest lecture at Kazan State University, Republic of Tatarstan, Russia; Xi’an University, China; and Yalta, Ukraine. Honors include NYSAVT Technician of the Year; SUNY Canton Diversity Award; Excellence in College Service Award, and President’s Meritorious Service Award.
