SUNY Canton
International Programs Office

Partnerships

SUNY Canton invites international educational institutions to contact the International Programs Office to explore our common interests in dual degree programs and other collaboration opportunities.

While earning a degree from their home universities, students will take courses delivered online by SUNY Canton and earn a SUNY Canton degree. Courses from both institutions will earn credits toward each degree. The two degrees will typically be earned within four years, sometimes including summer study.

Within SUNY Canton programs are individual courses or clusters of courses of interest. These courses can provide professional training in many areas of management, finance, security, leadership and technology. This professional training can also be delivered via videoconferencing or face to face workshops. SUNY Canton will work with universities and business and industry to develop training of interest.

SUNY Canton also plans to offer summer programs to international students. These summer programs will be designed to offer immersion in the English language while earning college credit. Programs of varying length with lodging on campus and American cultural experiences can be arranged. Students interested in participating in a developing program are encouraged to check the website at a later date for announcements. If you are a representative from a university interested in partnering with SUNY Canton for a summer program, please email Erin Lassial, Coordinator for International Student Initiatives, at lassiale@canton.edu.
