Summer 2012 Programs

• Small Business Management
  This program runs for three weeks. Students participating in this program will be involved in the morning academic lectures and workshops that offer insight into small business development concepts followed by visits to the area small businesses. The program also includes afternoon and weekend field trips and excursions. Students can expect to gain a better understanding of the small business development, concepts related to small business management and the ways businesses should operate to be successful.



• English as a Second Language (ESL) & Culture
  This program runs for three weeks. It provides English Language learners with a purpose for developing reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. Formal instruction occurs in the mornings and the field and cultural trips are scheduled during afternoons and on weekends. Students who participate in this program should expect to improve their English speaking abilities, increase reading vocabulary and use language skills while exploring a variety of cultural settings.
