Are you having trouble meeting the requirements of the NYS CME program for core content? Here is your chance to get 8 hours core content. By attending the conference every year you will have the opportunity to complete your core hours  in 3 years and gain up to 6 additional hours each year by attending the Saturday sessions.

The New York State Volunteer Ambulance & Rescue Association, in conjunction with its 53rd Annual Meeting, will be conducting its highly acclaimed educational conference and trade show known as Pulse Check, at the Holiday Albany Inn on Wolf Road, Colonie, NY.  The dates are October 1st through October 4th.

Pulse Check ’09 will feature three educational tracks geared to basic EMT, ALS, and Paramedic levels.  Seminars and courses are approved for CME credit.  The presenters are well-recognized and respected professionals in their fields of expertise.  The trade show portion of Pulse Check will feature vendors exhibiting equipment, supplies, and services geared to EMS providers of independent, community, and volunteer fire rescue squads and ambulance services.

Pulse Check ’09 includes drill competitions for NYS CFR’s and EMTs, a Presidential reception, annual awards banquet, scholarship awards, and a Memorial Service.  State awards to be presented include  EMS Unit Citation, EMS Person of the Year, Civilian Star of Life, Emergency Registered Professional Nurse of Excellence, and EMS Leadership, to name a few.
