SUNY Canton Offering Instant Admissions Sessions
SUNY Canton admissions counselors will be holding instant admissions sessions from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each weekday from Jan. 14 until the first day of Spring Semester, Jan. 21 in the College’s French Hall offices.
“Students typically must send an application in for review before starting college,” said Jonathan Kent, SUNY Canton Director of admissions “We can eliminate all of that waiting and give students an answer quickly with instant admissions.”
For future students to complete the admission process, they should bring an official high school transcript or official GED test scores, a check or money order for their $40 application fee, and a completed application. Transfer students should also bring official transcripts from their previous college.
SUNY Canton financial aid counselors are also available to help students and their parents and can explain deferred tuition payment options. Potential students applying for financial aid should bring with them a completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form, which can be completed online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov.

SUNY Canton offers a wide variety of career-driven bachelor’s, associate, and certificate programs, as well as three master’s degrees in conjunction with SUNYIT, Utica. Most of SUNY Canton’s new four-year programs are designed so students can take them on-campus, online, or both. SUNY Canton OnLine features more than 65 courses online each semester. The college’s athletic teams have joined the NAIA’s Sunrise Conference, enabling students to compete in their respective sports for four years.
