CANTON – The SUNY Canton Small Business Development Center will be holding an Internet marketing seminar from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4 in the Richard W. Miller Campus Center’s Woodcock Conference Suite Room 212.

“Many businesses have augmented their regional sales by selling online,” noted SBDC Director Dale Rice. “We see it as a viable low-cost way to increase business and have several innovative ways for area entrepreneurs to utilize web-based resources.”

Among the topics covered during the day-long seminar will be:

· The uniqueness of Internet marketing using both creative and technical elements

· How the Internet has changed the buying process

· Expectations of Internet shoppers

· Determining a business’ online marketing potential

· Internet marketing in a recession

· Search engine optimization

· Web analytics

· Social Media marketing
