The SUNY Canton Parent/Family Association serves as a bridge into college life for new students and their families. By recognizing the vital role families play, the association invites families into partnership through programs, services, and resources designed to optimize students' overall learning experience. The association strives to instill the rich traditions and culture of SUNY Canton and empower the students to make the most of their collegiate career. Additionally, the Parent/Family Association provides leadership development opportunities for students and encourages academic excellence.

Purpose
- The Parent/Family Association will include parents representatives who will serve as liaison with the college, direct the association's affairs, and advise and support the college.

- Provide assistance for students where necessary
