Admissions and Financial Aid Offices Open Late in August

  SUNY Canton's Offices of Admissions and Financial Aid will be open late for three Wednesdays in August to ensure that working adults have the opportunity to talk with admissions and financial aid counselors about enrolling for the Fall 2005 semester, which begins Tuesday, August 30.

The Office of Admissions will be open until 7 p.m. on August 3, 10 and 17. Office hours are normally 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. There's still time to apply for the Fall 2005 semester.

"We realize it can be difficult to schedule an appointment during the work day," said Jodi L. Revill, SUNY Canton Director of Admissions. "The SUNY Canton Office of Admissions and Financial Aid Office are both open to help prospective students who can’t make it here during business hours."

Students in most academic majors can get started by taking general education classes and specialized courses within their major. SUNY Canton Financial Aid counselors will also be on-hand to help students apply for financial aid. They will also assist with deferred tuition payment options.

Appointments are required for admissions consultations. Call 315/386-7123 during regular business hours, to schedule an appointment and review items that can help speed the admissions process.
