Spring 2007 Instant Admission Available
Don't wait! SUNY Canton's Office of Admissions is making the decision process convenient and quick for prospective students by eliminating the wait.
Admissions counselors are holding instant admission sessions for Spring 2007 now, and continuing through January 19.
"There are a limited number of openings in select SUNY Canton programs for this spring," said Director of Admissions Jodi L. Revill. "Instead of mailing college applications, students can expedite the admissions process by coming to campus and utilizing our instant admissions process."
For prospective students to fully complete the admission process, they should bring an official high school transcript or official GED test scores, a check or money order for their $40 application fee, and a completed application. If students have previously attended another college, they should also bring official college transcripts.
SUNY Canton financial aid counselors will also be on hand to assist future students and their parents in applying for financial aid or explaining deferred tuition payment options. Students applying for financial aid should bring with them a completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form, which can be completed online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
Appointments are not necessary, but strongly recommended to avoid wait time. Call 315-386-7123 or 800-388-7123 to schedule an appointment. The Office of Admissions is located in French Hall and is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
SUNY Canton is celebrating its 100-year anniversary this year and is in the midst of its highly successful SUNY Canton Centennial Campaign: Cultivating the Minds of Tomorrow. In addition to 22 associate degree programs, SUNY Canton currently offers 12 four-year degrees with plans to announce several other new programs during the next academic year. SUNY Canton also offers three unique master's degrees in conjunction with SUNYIT, Utica.
