SUNY Canton 24-hour Relay for
Katrina Victims Raises Over $5,000
The SUNY Canton Running Club Relief Relay raised over $5,000 for the Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. Pictured are (from left) SUNY Canton alumnus Kyle E. Fink of Bergen, Criminal Investigation major Brian Buzzell of Susquehanna, Pa., and Civil Engineering Technology major Mike Breault of Fort Ann. Together with SUNY Canton Residence Hall Director Chris Marquart, more than 70 runners and walkers completed the 24-hour relay without dropping the baton. "I would especially like to thank Dunkin Donuts, Sergi's, Domino's Pizza, Henry LaQuier, John Casserly, Dan Sweeney, the First Presbyterian Church, A J's Septic of Lisbon, Fisher Design of Potsdam, and all of the volunteers who made this possible, " Marquart said. All proceeds from the Relief Relay will be donated to the American Red Cross.
