SUNY Canton Security Guard Training, Dec. 9
Security guard training classes will be offered from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday Dec. 9 in SUNY Canton's Payson Hall room 111.
Both the "Pre-Assignment" course and the eight-hour "Annual Update" course, which are approved by the Office of Public Safety and the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services, will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pre-registration is required for this course. The fee for either course is $79, which includes the required textbooks. SUNY Canton is celebrating its 100-year anniversary this year and is in the midst of its highly successful SUNY Canton Centennial Campaign: Cultivating the Minds of Tomorrow. In addition to 22 associate degree programs, SUNY Canton currently offers 12 four-year degrees with plans to announce several other new programs during the next academic year. SUNY Canton also offers three unique master's degrees in conjunction with SUNYIT, Utica.
