Who's Who Students at SUNY Canton

 The publications Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities and Who’s Who’s Who in American Junior Colleges recently celebrated the successful academics and extracurricular activities of area SUNY Canton students.

In order to be considered for this scholastic honor, SUNY Canton students had to demonstrate outstanding scholastic ability, actively participate in academic and extracurricular organizations, demonstrate leadership, and possess excellent potential for future achievement.

Area SUNY Canton students who were recognized in Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities include:

• David Akins, a Public Safety Technology: Criminal Investigation major from Madrid. Akins is a 2001 graduate of Madrid-Waddington Central School.
• Shawna Avery, a Technology Management: Financial Services major from Rensselaer Falls. Avery is a 1993 graduate of Peru Junior-Senior High School.
• Enid Corbin, an Information Technology major from Brooklyn. Corbin is a 1999 graduate of Clara Barton High School.
• Christopher C. Denniston, Public Safety Technology: Criminal Investigation major from Hannibal. Denniston is a 2002 graduate of Hannibal Central School.
• Kyle E. Fink, a Public Safety Technology: Criminal Investigation major from Bergen. Fink is a 2001 graduate of Byron Bergen Junior-Senior High School.
• Megan Krahe, a Public Safety Technology: Criminal Investigation major from Brockport. Krahe is a 2002 graduate of Brockport High School.
• Kimberly Morrissette, a Public Safety Technology: Criminal Investigation major from Canton. Morrissette is a 1991 graduate of Hugh C. Williams Senior High School.
• Bryan O’Connor, a Technology Management: Financial Services major from Chateaugay. O’Connor is a 1998 graduate of Chateaugay
• Thomas Tyler, a Public Safety Technology: Criminal Investigation major from Oswego. Tyler is a 2003 graduate of G. Ray Bodley High School.
• Megan VanGraafeiland, a Health Services Management major from Ontario, N.Y. VanGraafeiland is a 2002 graduate of Wayne Central High School.
• Krista Walters, a Public Safety Technology: Criminal Investigation major from Syracuse. Walters is a 2002 graduate of Indian River Junior-Senior High School.

• Anternett (Joy) Collymore, a Liberal Arts and Sciences: General Studies major from Brooklyn. Collymore is a 2002 graduate of South Shore High School.
• Darlena Copney, a Veterinary Science Technology major from Queens Village. Copney is a 1998 graduate of John Bowne High School.
• Kai-Marie Edwards a Criminal Justice major from the Bronx. Edwards is a 2003 graduate of the Bronx High School of Science.
• Corey Gallagher, a Veterinary Science Technology major from Potsdam. Gallagher is a 1992 graduate of Ashwaubenon High School, in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
• Caitlin Johnson, a Veterinary Science Technology major from Fulton. Johnson is a 2003 graduate of G. Ray Bodley High School.
• Gregory Laddison, an Engineering Science Technology major from Hermon. Laddison is a 1984 graduate of Hugh C. Williams Senior High School.
• Jenny Long an Occupational Therapy Assistant major from South Colton. Long is a 1998 graduate of Colton-Pierrepont Central School.
• Jennifer Michel a Veterinary Science Technology major from Brooklyn. Michel is a 2002 graduate of Uniondale High School.
• James Russell, a Civil Engineering Technology major from Canton.
• Laura Schneller, an Early Childhood major from DePeyster. Schneller is a graduate of Gouverneur Central Junior-Senior High School.
• Gretchen Tessmer, a Liberal Arts and Sciences: General Studies major from Gouverneur.
• Samantha Thomas, a Physical Therapist Assistant major from Ogdensburg. Thomas is a 2003 graduate of Ogdensburg Free Academy.
• Kathleen Topps Hahn, a Veterinary Science Technology major from Hadley. Topps Hahn is a 1978 graduate of Corinth High School.
• Todd Truscott a Liberal Arts and Sciences: General Studies major from Potsdam. Truscott is a 1983 graduate of Delaware Academy and Central School.
• Emily Volckmann, a Veterinary Science Technology major from Manchester N.H. Volckmann is a 2003 graduate of Goffstown Area High School.
• Eric Wilsey, a Mortuary Science major from Saugerties. Wilsey is a 2003 graduate of Saugerties Senior High School.
• Gregory Wioncek, a Business Administration major from Clay. Wioncek is a 2003 graduate of Cicero-North Syracuse High School.
