Dental Hygiene - Program Description

The Bachelor of Technology in Dental Hygiene constitutes the final two years of a 2+2 articulation program in which the first two years entail completing an associate degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program. This degree provides graduates expanded career and graduate education opportunities in: administration, education, management, pharmaceutical sales, public health, sales and marketing and research.

Admission Requirements:

Future SUNY Canton students, recent graduates, and transfer students can apply for admission into the four-year degree immediately. The final two years of the bachelor's program are offered exclusively online.

  • Students must be prepared to take College Algebra (GER 1) (MATH 121)
  • Must have completed an associate degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
  • Refer to the table of high school course prerequisites for admission.
