Veterinary Services Management ~ BT
Unique: Two aspects that differentiate this program from others:
- It can be completed entirely online
- It progresses from the two-year Veterinary Science Technology degree offered right here at SUNY Canton.
Hands-on training: The hands-on aspect of this program consists of a 12-week internship in a practice management setting at the culmination of the program. There is also a significant amount of hands-on training in the first two years of this four-year program.
Online Convenience: The final two-years of this four-year program is available online. Some of the courses are also available on campus for those students who prefer to take them on campus.
Well-rounded curriculum: Students take courses in business, accounting, mathematics, health services management, and veterinary services management. Interesting courses include:

- Issues & Perspectives in Veterinary Medicine
- Internship for Veterinary Services Management
Certified
Success: Graduates of this program fulfill the educational requirements for certification as a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager.
