| Dana Vitanza '01 is now a senior at SUNY Potsdam and pursuing a degree in Business Administration. Dana is also working for 99 Hits FM as a part-time radio broadcaster. | |
| Jessica Sargent '01 is completing her associate's degree at North Country Community College. As she remains interested in photography, she's planning to enroll at the Hallmark Institute this fall. | |

| Katherine (Thompson) Owens '97 is proud to announce that she is now married.and that she met her husband at college while studying for her associate's degree in Radio and TV Broadcasting. | |
| Chris Lippa '01 is now a senior and English major at the University of Buffalo. He's been writing for Buffalo-area publications and is serving as the Assistant Sports Editor of "The Spectrum". Chris is substitute teaching and planning a career as an English teacher. | |
| Justin Cree '03 recently finished his first year at SLU. He's working at SLU this summer, both with social services and in (potentially) several capacities with Upward Bound. He's also serving as a sociology research assistant. | |
| Michele Doring '03 writes that she and Jaden are doing FINE! She's planning on enrolling at SUNY Canton in the fall for their Early Childhood Development major. She's seeking daycare for Jaden. | |
| Nate Cutway '03 writes that he had some trouble during his fall semester at Herkimer. In the spring, he enlisted in the Marine Corps and has been through some intensive training at both boot camp and combat training. He's currently stationed at Fort Lee but is planning on returning to college this fall. From this, we're guessing that Nate may be in a reserve unit...? In any case, he sends along his greetings. | |
| Sam Bennett '03 stopped by and shared that she finished her first year at the University of Buffalo with a B+ average. She's planning to return to UB in the fall and is majoring in History toward a secondary social studies career. | |
| Jason Coleman '96 is working in the SLU Bookstore. He's been there for a few years now so if you're stopping by to visit UB, don't forget to say "hello" to Jay in the bookstore. He also continues his long-suffering loyalty for the Toronto Maple Leafs during the colder months. | |
| Jason Hubbard '98 is now an Art Teacher at Norwood-Norfolk Central School. This year marks his second summer as an Upward Bound Photography teacher during the summer program. He's also rekindling his soccer game and coaching a girls' summer under-17 team. | |
| Willy Herne '70s is now a BOCES Counselor serving Salmon River Central School. He likes having his summers off and still loves working with young people. | |
| Brenda Mattice-Thurman '70s is a school counselor at Northwest Technical Center in Ogdensburg. She's doing well and spots UB Alumni at every mall she shops at! | |
| Theresa Swamp '80s left UB after the summer of 2002 and is now a Math teacher at Salmon River Central School. | |
| Tony Lawton '03 finished his first year at SUNY Buffalo and liked it so much that he returned for the summer of 2004! He's doing fine and plans to continue at U. Buffalo this fall. | |
| Matt Cooper '96 has started taking college courses part-time. He took a writing course this past spring and LOVED IT! He's planning to stay at it towards a college degree. Nice job Coop! |
