Text Box: Though it’s snowing today, spring is inevitable now and we are looking forward to warmer weather. As I write, we are making final preparations for Saturday’s Parent-Student workshop on communication. UB counselors have been conducting recruitment presentations in various schools and we are making plans for our final two field trips -- the Senior Dinner and our Incentive Trip to New York City. Amidst all of this, we continue to prepare for the summer program, in part, by seeking quality residential staff and teachers. In short, we are really busy!

This past week, Andrea informed us that she would need to start her maternity leave a bit earlier than expected. In her stead, we have hired Cindy Lauzon (most recently a UB tutor at Salmon River and summer teacher) as our Interim Academic Advisor. Keri Cooke, a local graduate, will be taking Cindy’s place as SRCS UB tutor by the week of March 22. Lots of change, but we have confidence in a smooth transition. Be looking for Cindy and Keri in their new roles! And please be open and welcoming. As always, we continue to prioritize your needs as our students. As spring nears, we hope you’re maintaining and even increasing your motivation for academic success. Your dreams are our dreams for you and you’re one step closer with every ounce of effort!
