Text Box: Paintball anyone? The response was enormous as 32 students attended our October event encompassing education and fun! On Saturday, October 16th, we gathered for the first time since summer UB to share in this experience together. The morning welcomed our guest speaker, Tristina Dube, who presented information about drug and alcohol awareness. Following a competitive game of alcohol awareness jeopardy, the students anxiously preceded to the University Plaza to partake at their choice of restaurants among Burger King, Pizza Hut, and Subway. The excitement built as the group departed for the Polluck Road in Canton where the paintball equipment and field awaited UB reckoning. Although the weather was sporadically wet, cold, and windy, UBers were unstoppable and relentless as they showered each other with the colorful paint. It was truly difficult to determine a winner, although I think Jim Sheppard (summer CC) could have won the title of “most bruised.” Come see us at November’s event, soon to be announced!
