School Year Component
During the academic year, full-time Upward Bound academic advisors visit students in their respective schools on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
Advisors provide academic and career counseling, workshops, field trips, college visits and much more. Students also receive tutoring in their schools. Opportunities for the students to perform community service are available most months.
Students receive bi-monthly stipends if all requirements are met.
