3. Examples of Workplace Violence
- Assaults with and without weapons
- Acts or threats made directly or indirectly by telephone calls, letters, emails, or postings on social media
- Acts or threats made directly or indirectly by gestures (e.g. throwing objects, shaking fists, slamming doors)
- Publishing or displaying symbols, pictures or words which intimidate, harass, threaten, bully, coerce, or cause fear of harm
- Directing verbal abuse at another individual to cause emotional distress
