New York State Vaccination Rollout
As you know, the roll-out of COVID-19 vaccinations is underway in New York State, Phase 1a, consisting mostly of front-line healthcare workers, has been ongoing for a few weeks. As of today, the State has announced the start of Phase 1b, and has included in-person college instructors as eligible to receive the vaccine during this phase.
We know that there are many others on campus who have student-facing and other essential work on campus. At this time, New York State has not included those employees in Phase 1b vaccinations. However, we will continue to work with SUNY to advocate for more college employees to be included in this phase, and we will communicate with you as guidelines change.
All employees are encouraged to go to this link to check eligibility and register to receive a vaccine: https://am-i-eligible.covid19vaccine.health.ny.gov.
If you have any questions, please contact Lenore VanderZee at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you for all you do to keep our campus safe and healthy, to provide the best education and services for our students, and to support one another during these difficult times. We’re all in this together.
