Dana Hall Nears Completion

SUNY Canton’s Dana Hall nears the end of a multiyear renovation project. The building will be home to the Center for Criminal Justice, Intelligence and Cybersecurity (CJIC) and the University Police department.

The Alumni Gymnasium was updated with new lighting. The classic laminated wooden beams were cleaned, resealed and repaired throughout the entire building to help maintain its historic presence.

The primary academic areas of the CJIC will be located on the upper floor. There will be a student lounge area just through the new wooden double doors with seating, a television and computer access.

The new University Police offices are on the building’s lower level along with the St. Lawrence County-David Sullivan Law Enforcement Academy classroom space.

Brand new locker rooms for athletes and law enforcement academy cadets were installed on the lower level.
