Anastazia (Ana) Graham
Anastazia (Ana) Graham of the Bronx is passionate about helping others. At SUNY Canton, she’s a member of the Empire State Service Corp and works at the Renzi Food Pantry.
“Working there has made me realize that working in fields that support people’s mental wellness and basic needs is fulfilling to me,” she said. “I have seen how important that support is to people. It’s nice when I can connect to the students and make them comfortable enough to ask for what it is that they need instead of going without out of fear of being ashamed or judged.”
She is majoring in Forensic Criminology with minors in Forensic Victimology and Applied Psychology. Ana has an interest in the study of the mind and human behavior. She wants to make a difference beyond what traditional therapy offers.
She plans to start working in forensic social work, then pursue a master’s and a doctorate in Forensic Psychology after she graduates in May 2027.
