Nicole Morrow
Nicole Morrow of Dryden has worked on a farm since she was 12 and developed a passion for working with animals that led her to pursue her degree in Veterinary Technology.
“Animals have always held a special place in my heart, and I have always wanted to be their voice and advocate for their well-being,” she said. “Choosing this major allows me to turn that passion into a career where I can make a difference in the lives of animals and the people who care for them.”
Nicole is a two-sport student-athlete. She plays defense for the SUNY Canton women’s soccer team and runs on the SUNY Canton cross country team.
“Being a part of two teams is a really fun experience,” she said. “My favorite part is traveling to away games and late-night bus ride karaoke with my teammates.”
The biggest thing Nicole has learned since coming here is “as a student-athlete I have learned that I can be capable of more than I realized,” Nicole said.
Her favorite class is Animal Anatomy and Physiology, and her favorite faculty member is Assistant Professor Dr. Wendy Kuceyeski.
After graduation in May 2029, she plans to earn her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine.
