Laboratory objectives:
- Complete the PLC programs on pages 125 and 129 in the LAB NOTES: Timer Sequencers, using RS LOGIX 500.
- Implement the sequence timing diagram exercises on pages 124, 126, 127, 128 in the loose leaf lab notebook and save the files to a folder.
- Continue building a “PLC ladder logic file portfolio”. Programs must be complete with Name, Date, file title, and PLC element and rung labels.
Laboratory Practical Exam: ___________ (as assigned)
- Exam will be an implementation of a timing sequence diagram provide by the instructor.
- The PLC program excercise on page 129 in the loose leaf lab notebook should be used as a template.
- Successful completion of the exam will require:
- push button inputs as assigned by the instructor
- demonstration of the operation of the program as specified by the assigned sequence diagram
- print out of the program
