Assignment
Draw the following diagrams on engineering computation paper and place in your notebook.  Label all devices, take off points and circuit elements following standard conventions.  Drawings should be neat and completed using a straight edge.
  1. Internal "contol" circuit diagram for the magnetic-across-the-line starter
  2. Internal "power" circuit diagram for the magnetic-across-the-line starter
  3. External "control" connection circuit diagram for start and stop control of the magnetic-across-the-line starter
  4. Complete control circuit diagram for start and stop control of the magnetic-across-the-line starter
  5. Complete control circuit diagram for start, stop, and jog control of the magnetic-across-the-line starter (implement using jog circuit #1)
  6. Complete control circuit diagram for start, stop, and jog control of the magnetic-across-the-line starter (implement using jog circuit #2)
  7. Repeat numbers 4,5, and 6 with multiple start, stop and jog push-buttons.
Explain the difference in design and operation between the two jog circuits.
Explain the importance of low voltage protection in design of control circuits.
Explain how to reverse the direction of a three phase induction motor
